The
craftsmen at Parker Welding can fabricate anything you or
your builder can imagine. At left is one of a pair of
cupolas designed for a new barn in Talbot County, Maryland.
The barn roof itself is copper sheeting. The cuploas were
designed by the architect and plans delivered to Tom Parker.
Each features eight double-hung Pella® windows and
1/8-inch brass plate for the roof.
Each cupola was built completely by hand and delivered on
a flatbed. The picture shows one of them being lifted into
place with a crane rented for the purpose.
Specifications:
- 6 1/2' square x 13' high (does not include
pinnacle)
- Outer sheeting & roof are 1/8" brass plate.
Roof is left natural brass and the side walls are
painted with synthetic enamel gloss white.
- Framing is 4" x 4" tube steel. Totally welded
construction.
- Roof curbs 1/8" brass plate with tube steel
frame.
- Vinyl clad 6 over 6 Pella windows
- Interior painted gloss white. wood flooring with
hatch entrance. they are fully working cupolas.
